#PSL

Hey, Happy Saturday!  It's another wonderful Fall Day in the Pacific Northwest!  I decided to design a Pumpkin Spice Latte themed card.

One of my favorite Reverse Confetti stamp sets is Just Brew It!  Such a fun set!

I combined it with the Pumpkin Patch confetti cuts,  Love those Lacy Scallop Circle confetti cuts!  The paper is from the Every Little Bit 6x6 paper pad.

I meant to take a photo of the Tangerine base panel.  I generally cut my full size cardstock into 1/4's.  This particular one had 2 die cuts out of the center..perfect for what I needed.  I topped off my card with twine and a clip from my stash.

My card was inspired by Fusion Card Challenge:

I used the following Reverse Confetti colors:

Tangerine  •  Stone  •  Midnight

Hero Arts: You're freaking awesome

Aloha!  So, if you follow me on FB or IG you may have noticed that I've been on vaca for the past week.  We had a glorious time in Maui.   My first crafting project back from vaca had to be hawaiian influenced:

I managed to use 4 different Hero Arts sets:

Color Layering Pineapple
Tropical Foliage Bold Prints
Wave Pattern Background
Hello Gorgeous

Let's start at the bottom and work our way up.  I started with a Foliage panel that has the Tropical Foliage Bold Prints stamped with Lime Green.  I inked up the edges too.  I layered a Sunshine panel that has been stamped with the Wave Pattern Background in Butter Bar.

I used the Circle Infinity Dies so I had a space to stamp the sentiment from the Hello Gorgeous set in Intense Black.  I always seem to fall back on pink pineapples, and hello?  Why wouldn't I?  Love the Color Layering Pineapple set.  The inks for the pineapple:

Soft Pink  •  Cotton Candy  •  Bubble Gum

The pineapple greenery consists of:

Lime Green  •  Fresh Lawn  •  Green Hills

The bloom:

Butter Bar  •  Cotton Candy  •  Intense Black

I topped it off with twine, washi and enamel dots from my stash.

You'll find affiliate shopping links below!

Thought I'd share the pics on my blog.  I use this as a diary, not just for my design work.  Darin took this gorgeous sunset photo, absolutely gorgeous eh?

LOL...Darin took this one of me.  I always look so excited when I have food.  This was Shave Ice with Mochi (the white stuff on top) and the bottom has Azuki Beans....a japanese delicacy...personally I could live off of the stuff.  If you're ever on Maui, make sure you check out Ululani's!

Precious Remembrance Guest Designer: Special Delivery

Hello, I'm back featuring a project using some goodies from the Precious Remembrance Shop!

Today I'm playing with Happy Mail + Beware:

Here's how I was inspired!  I inked up those fun circle images from the Beware set in a charcoal ink.  It gives it a worn look and just what I was looking to complement my design.  I wanted to have a handful of the images included on my card so I staggered them with spacing and foam adhesives.

I managed to include two sentiments, one from each stamp set.  The Happy Mail set is perfect for card + envelope designs:

This has already gone postal and hopefully it will brighten the recipient's day!

Thanks so much for stoppin' by today!!!!  Make sure you check out the Precious Remembrance Shop blog!

Reverse Confetti October Blog Hop!

Yay!  It's October 8th which is the Reverse Confetti Blog Hop!  I decided to do the theme:  Color Me Mine!  So here's the combo I designed with:

Navy  •  Lime Green  •  Tangerine

Here's how I was inspired, fresh nautical:

I put together this fun giftie duo.  The colors aren't a trio that I've ever worked with but it reminds me of preppy fresh nautical.  Let's start with the card first:

My card base starts off with a Navy panel.  I used panels from the Warm Heart 6x6.  Do you see the pops of Lime Green cardstock?  I used the Seaside stamps and coordinating confetti cuts.  I used Navy + Tangerine dye ink.  I did some tone-on-tone stamping on the Lime Green strip and anchor stamp.  Love that anchor in glittery gold cardstock.  The Scallop Tag Layer adds so much fun to the design!  Do you spy the Fright Night orange + white gingham strip?

Next up is a bit of a giftie:

The Bitty Window Bag is so much fun.  The possibilities are endless.  I thought adding the goldfish crackers would be a fun treat.  The tag is from the Tag Duo.  Keeping with the color trio:

Navy  •  Lime Green  •  Tangerine

The tag has been cut in a Navy/Lime Green duo.  The cute Octo from the Seaside stamp set has been stamped in Navy.

That's it for me...make sure you check out my other teamies:

The Heart Desires Challenge #17: Pumpkin Everything

Hello and Welcome to The Heart Desires Challenge #17!  We have a wonderful Halloween theme.

So much fun, eh?!  Here's how I was inspired:

I love all the great images but the one with the pumpkins was calling my name!  I used the Neat & Tangled Pumpkin Everything.  I heat embossed it in white on black cardstock.  I used a stitched circle die and white pigment ink a dry baby white.   The seam binding ribbon is from my stash.

I can't wait to see how my teamies were inspired, make sure you check out The Heart Desires blog!
